The country house, dominated by the ancient Saracen Tower, overlooks the hills of Brisighella. Here, thanks to the landscape and to the interior environment, you can dive into a far away rural atmosphere, just a few kilometres from the towns of Faenza and Riolo Terme.
Erected by the end of the 15th century, Torre del Marino (Marino's Tower) dominates the entire valley of the river Senio. Built in bricks with sandstone creasing, it stands as an exemplary model of medieval military architecture, as it was taken as a blueprint for the realization of other watchtowers on the mountains of Vena del Gesso. Inside, we can still find traces of the stairs and the remains of a monumental fireplace.
Hiking, Nordic Walking, Trail Running. Mountain Bike and Horse Riding too. The Regional Park of Vena del Gesso is one of the most loved destinations for hiking and for sports in touch with nature: Torre del Marino is a must-see within numerous pathways and itineraries, including the Gessi Wild Trail and the Gessi Bike Lane.
